Broadacre Farm is in Henley, nr Langport and enjoys a remote, peaceful location on the very edge of the Somerset Levels. Dave, Carolyn and their children Tom, Archie, Charlie and Milly are the forth generation of Orams to run the farm, taking it over approximately 12 years ago. At this time Dave was working in sales and spending the best part of his working week away from home. Feeling he was missing out on the four childern's early years and his youngest daughter Milly crying at the stranger that came home at weekends the couple decided it was time for a change in lifestyle. After researching various possible avenues for the 100 acre farm, they decided that Free Range Egg production was the type of farming that could support the family.

Perry's Bridge Farm, Lydford on Fosse (1UK 20075)
Built in 2007, the free range egg unit at Perry's Bridge Farm has been a new venture for the Sharp family. Dad Mark, mum Rachel, Lucy and Jack have found the change to free range egg production both challenging and rewarding. The farm is a family affair with Mark and Rachel running the unit and sharing the egg collecting and other duties around the farm such as keeping the grass down.
